John Bear asks for help: Doctor's University of Natural Health Sciences

I've been asked for advice on a big dental malpractice suit that is coming up in a few weeks.

The defendant is apparently quite a popular "new age" health practitioner and media personality, William Kellas, whose claimed medical and/or dental degree is from the Doctor's University of Natural Health Sciences.

I've never heard of this place, nor does a Google search turn up anything on it, other than Doctor Kellas's bio data. The plaintiff believes that Kellas said his alma mater is in southern California.

"University of Natural Health" Sciences

(note the placement of the quotes) and got a number of hits to linguistic variants of "Bastyr University of Natural Health Sciences." This seems to be a naturopathic whatever-you-call-it.

The Bastyr site is here: http://www.bastyr.edu/. It's RA.

"Billy Silverhawk" at http://www.cherokeemedicineman.com/about.html

Maybe he'd be able to shed some light on this.

Intersting as I used the Edgar online telebase which provided the address. From the Edgar site I was going to cough up the $3.75 for the Dunn & Bradstreet company profile. Alas, D&B does not have a profile in their database.

Uh oh. This is my specialty, although I work on the defense side of things. I assume this guy did not have an actual license to practice dentistry. I am kind of drawing a blank as to what 'new age' dentistry would be.

FWIW, he's written a couple of books with one Andrea Sharon Dworkin who is not the Andrea Dworkin you would expect to be Andrea Dworkin.
