A separate thread discusses a story in The Economist about an Oxford study that indicates that employer interest in people with degrees is waning. And today an article in The Guardian describes results of a poll (by the Association of Graduate Recruiters) that reinforces the suggestion that Britain now has too many people with degrees, and that the quality of British higher education has suffered during the expansion.
