The other night, I dreamed an original joke.

I dreamed that I saw a cluster of newspaper vending machines. Most of them were ordinary vending machines, selling the modern local newspapers. But one was labeled "Wayback Machine", and sold old newspapers, from many decades ago. On top of the machine was a giant lever that apparently could be switched from "NOW" to "THEN", but actually was a fixture. The machine described the vending price for a newspaper as:
Well, in my dream I thought it was funny.

Your lucky the machine wasn't located in California. You would need a third switch - Broke

For those of us from the States, and of a certain viontage, wasn't the Wayback Machine the name of the time machine in the cartoon with Sherman and Peabody - the white dog and the boy that were always going back in time and getting into trouble?

    Of course.
The Wayback Machine that archives the Web http://www.archive.org is named after that one.
