I agree that John Bear should be nominated for his contributions in distance education. Perhaps several of us could write letters if one person woul dbe willing to put together the packet.
I would be willing to coordinate the effort and put the packet together. The deadline is March 1, 2004. If there is enough interest I can collect the letters and put together a packet. I would also need a John Bear bio. The last date to get items would be 2/15/04 so that I can be sure to get the packet in on time. Second, when composing your letter specify your reasons why Dr. Bear should be a recipient. Third, when you send the letter to me to be included in the packet please be sure the letter is addressed to the committee. Fourth, I will only include good quality profressionally written letters.
