Before there was the large expose and shutdwn on Columbia State University many graduates with Ph.D.s from this institution were popping up on the net. I decided to do another quick search and although the web appearance of these degrees in use has gone down I did find a continued presence primarily at the Master's degree level at Community Colleges. CSU still lives on (some of these may have been reported in other threads):

An ESL Coordinator at Edison Community College with a Columbia State University masters: http://www.edisonohio.edu/AllStaff.htm

A librarian at Vanguard University with an M.S. from Columbia State University: http://www.vanguard.edu/catalog/pdf/administration_and_faculty.pdf

A Nursing Lab Coordinator at Rockingham Community College with an M.S. from Columbia State University: http://www.rockinghamcc.edu/aboutrcc/facstaff/staff.html

A Director of Instruction with a Columbia State University M.S. at Valdosta Technical College: http://www.valdosta.tec.ga.us/facstf/directory.asp

At Chattanooga State University an Assistant Professor Communications/Broadcasting holds an M.S. from Columbia State University: http://www.chattanoogastate.edu/Business_Information/BusInfoSysFaculty.asp

The Small Business development coordinator at SUNY Jefferson Community College with a B.S. from Columbia State University: http://www.sunyjefferson.edu/Directories/facultys_text.html

In a previous position at a community college, I had the opportunity to serve on the hiring committees for several faculty and administrative positions. On more than one occassion, I had to alter HR staff that candidates that had passed the original screening actually had degrees from non-accredited schools (Columbia State, California Coast, Pacific Western, Newport, Kennedy-Western, etc.) After the revelation, the HR staff would always remove the candidate from consideration. I have worked for several colleges and universities, none of which would recognize a Columbia State degree.

The exception to this would be community college adjunct faculty candidates who possessed RA bachelors and masters degrees and a non-RA doctorate (the masters was the required degree for community college teaching). If the person with the non-RA doctorate was hired, the school would not recognize the doctorate for the purpose of pay, promotion, seniority, etc. and would not refer to the faculty member in question as "Doctor".
