People interested in a flexible MA program may want to consider the Murdoch Master of Arts by Personal Program (see http://handbook.murdoch.edu.au/cgi-bin/courselist.acgi?goto=M). The program may need as few as 24 points (and most Murdoch semester courses are 4 points, so this is 6 courses). You may not want a degree called "Personal Program" but the program description states: "There must be a title for the course: this will appear on the academic transcript and degree certificate." (Note that Murdoch uses word "course" to mean program, and "unit" to mean what would be a course in U.S.A.) So roll your own, and smoke it! (And Murdoch is in Western Australia, so no fear of running into Frenchie who is on Eastern side.)
