I have no idea what this TQM stuff is (not unusual). But it has blurbs from real sheikhs, lots of stuff that is knowledge based, and even one thing that is knowledge knowledge based. The MSc program will even "wet your appetite." Can't beat that!

Until recently, I worked at a large German-American auto maker. When they first merged, the German Senior Management started requiring degrees of management personnel. Suddenly, managers who had been promoted from areas such as punch press operator were referring to each other as "Doctor" or "Professor." My manager had a "Masters in Quality" from Hamilton U. His boss had a Ph.D. from SRU. TQM, or "Total Quality Management" is a major buzzword in some industries. I expect to see a lot of these e-TQM degrees start showing up in many of these same industries.

They are a little behind the times, TQM was a big deal in US industry several years ago and has since been replaced by such current "fads" as ISO 9000 and Six Sigma. If anybody is looking for a solid program in Quality Asurance check out the one offered by CSUDH (which evolves with time to acount for latests industry trends)

At my place of work our quality took a severe hit when the company decided we should be ISO compliant. Previously we had been known for superior preformance and production. Often ideas and programs started at our site later became implemented at other sites. Under the ISO program that all ended. We must perform exactly as the other sites do and we aren't allowed to innovate or improve on processes. All this happened after being bought by a large Japanese conglomerate.

I hope that you are aware that Hamilton U and SRU are mills. Degrees from these schools are worthless.
