After trying all morning and early afternoon to get on, I clicked all across the top of the main page and the "Home" page came up as http://www.degreeinfo.com/index.html and now I am able to post. This gets old.
To be fair, the most recent outage had nothing to do with spammers, DOS attackes, or other malicious activity against degreeinfo. What's happening is that, as usual, our detractors efforts have backfired and our traffic is up... and our database server (which runs the discussion forum) is having a bit of difficulty keeping up. We're going to be upgrading again soon, but in the meantime, we've got things patched up so all should be good.
