What's the matter boopie. Are you saying you just can't get motivated? Are you staring at your monitor, with a blank Method chapter? Have you tried to do your introduction, only to realize you have nothing to say? Is the prospect of cleaning the keys on your keyboard more interesting than your literature review?

Well, fear not, doctoral candidate. You are caught in the throes of procrastination. To help get through it, visit "Piled Higher and Deeper Comics (by Jorge Cham) at:

There, you can learn about Newton's Three Laws of Graduation.

I read all the archives and found the energy to finish my Method section in one weekend!

Now all I need is something to help me put together my instrument!

I'm still sore from an MA -- but I went ahead and enrolled in a PhD program. I felt a sense of urgency, but now that I've started, I'm wondering if I needed more of a break.

Oh well, the marathon has begun.

    Thanks, Jack.

I've bookmarked it, and will go through the articles...... hmmmm..... maybe I should do that before getting back to my work........

    Just kidding.

    back to the grindstone!

    Russ- the seemingly perpetual ABD!
