    That is just cheesy as a stage name. It couldn't possibly be his real name....right? :D

    I'm seeing some kind of over-print obscuring the name of the offending defunct mill, so that it reads: Having earned a PhD. In psychology from Columbia blah-blah blah. Seems a (non) transparent attempt to deflect criticism.

    Clearly, this is the solution I've been looking for.

    Of course, I was referring to Franz Anton Mesmer, whose 'mesmerism' technique was appropriated by others under the name of hypnotism.
