  2. LOL!

I saw the double posting in the other section. At first I thought you were just emphasizing a point.:D

Uh-oh. Now things are shifting. Instead of appearing at the bottom, my posts are appearing at the top and in the middle section of the threads.

FWIW, I've been experiencing the problem mentioned here on two other, unrelated, boards along with general slow response times from net searches, etc.

In the past couple of weeks, I installed all of the recently released security updates for Windoze. I wonder whether that has anything to do with these anomalies.

Okay, forget the foregoing. I just noticed my previous post appeared ABOVE Unc's, Michael's, and Dennis' posts despite the fact that mine was posted subsequent to their posts. Something is definitely wrong here.

Is there something wrong with the system that makes any message, longer than this, impossibly slow to post?

And I have also noticed multiple copies of a single post.

Yes. Since the spam attack or joe job started. I get "web site not responding" when I try to post. Sometimes the post has gone through, sometimes not. The only way to know for sure is to retry. However, this leads to an indeterminate number of copies of a single post getting through in a minute or two. So I wait and see how many (if any) got through, and remove the duplicate(s), if any.
Advice: check to see what gets through and take the time to delete your duplicates.

This is hard to do when the duplicate appears long after a few minutes have passed.
