    Where are you located?

    Hi novemberdude,

    Where are you located?
Are you planning to practice law in the US?

I am starting first year LLB at UoL and was wondering if anyone is interested in selling used books. I am taking Contract, Criminal Law, and English Legal System.

If anyone out there is interested let me know and we can compare editions and so on.

I know this is a longshot, but thanks!

(Sorry if I have broken any forum rules)

    Re: Where are you located?

    Thanks for the reply!

I am located in Canada and am not planning to practice law in any jurisdiction. I am doing the LLB for a variety of reasons, including personal interest, the fact that I deal with a lot of legal issues at work (many governed by English Law), and I think it will look decent on my resume (something I hope to avoid needing in the near future). Also, I am angling to not complete the LLB but to springboard into the LLM.

I realize that a UoL LLB is really not the ideal way to break into legal practice in Canada (or the US for that matter).

Hunh. I thought the University of London now provides all text books for the Intermediate subjects? Not so?

    Hi Nosbourne,

UoL provide "most" textbooks. There are one or two recommended texts for each course besides the one provided, plus the statute and case books.

Enough not provided to run a few hundred bucks!
