Where did Dean Magnuson get his JD I wonder? Anyway, this is an extreme illustration of my endlessly repeated point that a Bar eligible JD is a valuable degree even if it is not accredited. A law license is a law license. Of course, a license is not portable so if the lawyer wants to move out of his state, he may run into difficulties with a non ABA degree.
Dean Roger J. Magnuson received his bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University in 1967. He then became a Booth Farris Fellow at Gordon Divinity School. In 1971, he received his juris doctor from Harvard Law School, where he served on the board of editors for the Harvard Law Review from 1970-1971. He did postgraduate work as a Knox Fellow at Magdalen College, Oxford University, and received a bachelor of civil law in 1972.
