Someone on another forum asked for the name of the distance learning school associated with Jack Van Impe. I could not find anything on his site or through google. I was not aware he had a school. I know some television preachers (Kennedy, Hayford, etc.) have established seminaries, etc., but not Van Impe. If anyone has knowledge of Van Impe's school it would be appreciated as I'll pass it on and it will also satisfy my own curiosity.
Back in the '80s, the school's literature claimed Jack as a graduate. But when I called Jack's headquarters, a staff member said he had not graduated from the school. I was told that the school had given him an honorary degree. When I lived in Rocky Mount in the mid-80s, I searched out the school and found it as an office in a complex with a bookstore and other offices (different businesses). I did not meet the president. When I lived in Gettysburg, Pa., in the early 90s, there was an area school board member with a doctorate from the school. Everybody on the school board, including the local media, addressed him as "Dr." At the time I knew his credentials were unaccredited but he and the others apparently didn't know much about accreditation.
