I really need help deciding what would be the best degree to choose for in my situation. I am currently planning on entering a bachelor degree program for either Healthcare Administration or Healthcare Information Management or Public Health. There is also a degree that includes Healthcare Administration and Information Management. I currently work as a medical assistant and may one day want to pursue a nursing program but right now that is not in my stars. So I am trying to enter a degree program that would benefit me right now with a career and would benefit me also if I decide to enter the nursing program. I am just confused to in public health would be better because it may be better down the line for nursing school but healthcare management/admin may be better for now. BUT would healthcare admin/management be only good for someone already in the line for a management position? I don't see myself in a management position within the next couple of years but I am currently working in the medical field. Thank you, sorry for the story. I feel so confused and cannot seem to make up my mind!
If you pan down past the ads, this has some really good points that outline the differences between the two fields. It might help you see which is more inline with your interests and goals. Public Health vs Health Care Administration | 2016 CareersinPublicHealth.net
