Some may be aware that UNISA suspended their MPH program that was 100% online.

UNISA informed me that information about their new program will be available on their website between September and November 2015.We will be offering the new qualification from 2016. Others have more experience with UNISA than me, but the general impression I get is that EVERYTHING takes a while to do with UNISA so get an early start. Also permit me to point out that their MPH program has never been accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. Some agencies ONLY hire graduates of CEPH accredited schools. Still, it might be a good deal for some.

If a person was particularly interested in earning an MPH from a South African school (I don't know, maybe the pricetag?) then another option would be the University of Limpopo. Inside U of L is the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUSA) and they have a DL MPH program attached to the medical school. I haven't looked at it for some time but I'm pretty sure my memory on that is good.

    Sa mph

Last I heard the MPH at Limpopo had been replaced with a postgraduate certificate. I don't know why. In SA, Western Cape also has a distance MPH.

I think the MUSA has been incorporated in Limpopo and is no longer a separate entity.
