    I-O Psychology Masters Programs

I am a military spouse and I am in search for a i-o psychology masters program that is 100% fully online. My first choice was the MAIOP program at Colorado State Unviversity Online PLUS, but I have missed the application deadline and would not be able to begin the program if accepted until Fall 2014. I really do not want to wait to get started so I am looking for a I-O psychology program I can start now and then transfer to CSU online later. Does anyone have any suggestion or advice? I'm currently considering Southern New Hampshire University , Capella University and Walden University. If you have any experience with these schools or know of any others please let me know.

    Austin Peay State University
    M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology

Birkbeck University of London / University of London International Programmes
    M.Sc. in Organizational Psychology

    Kansas State University
M.S. in Psychology with emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology
There is "a two-week summer workshop on the Manhattan, Kansas campus during July each summer." If this were an absolute impediment for you, particularly considering your situation as a military spouse, you might contact K-State to see if an alternative might be available.

    Grand Canyon University
M.S. in Psychology with emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology
Grand Canyon University is, uniquely, both a publicly-traded for-profit business and a Christian university.

    Northcentral University
M.A. in Psychology with specialization in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Northcentral University is a for-profit business.

Capella and Walden are also for-profit. Southern New Hampshire University is private non-profit.

Colorado State University online PLUS looks promising but I'd have to wait until Fall 2014 since I've missed the application deadline. Reading the negative reviews online for Walden, Capella and Southern New Hampshire have gotten me a little discouraged. I just want to be equipped with the knowledge I need to be successful.
I'm sure that others will chime in with siggestions but I'd simply say that you shouldn't give too much weight to detractors because frequently they're disgruntled students who have dropped out, flunked out or been kicked out of their respective schools. It's good that you're doing your own research. Every organization has it's detractors.

It's very important to note that graduate programs are often very restrictive about transfer credit. Besides total semester hour limits on transfer credit, you can't take for granted that your target program will accept the specific courses you'd be applying to transfer, toward the requirements of your degree.

From The Graduate School at Colorado State University (Fort Collins), which appears to be responsible for the Colorado State University OnlinePlus MAIOP:

University Credit Requirements: Plan C Master's Degrees (including the MAIOP)
This indicates that at least 24 sh of the 38 sh MAIOP must be earned from Colorado State .

Transfer of Graduate Credit From Other Institutions

You've missed the deadline for admission to the program, but could you register in courses at Colorado State prior to admission to the degree program?

Credit for Graduate Courses Taken at CSU Prior to Admission to a Graduate Program
A minimum of 21 sh must be earned from Colorado State after admission to the target degree program.
