I am trying to find out if anyone has had success in transferring the science credits (physics/chemistry) from their nursing degree (Berufsfachschule) Germany. And/or the hours equated to credits in the us.

Appreciate my pointers since I am trying to "educate" my college where I am taking classes for ADN/BSN.

I am a new comer to the this board. So apologies if this has been answered before

    Thanks

Usually, college transcripts from foreign schools need to be translated and evaluated by an approved third party like World Education Services Link: World Education Services - International Education Intelligence before the school will consider transfer credits.

If you were already a nurse in Germany then the transcripts need to be evaluated by CFGNS Link: CGFNS International
to ascertain if you are eligible to take the nursing licensing exam (NCLEX-RN) Once you become licensed in the USA as a Registered Nurse you can enroll in many RN to BSN programs.

You may want to contact Excelsior College to see if you are eligible for entry into their nursing program based on completing 50% or more of your nursing program in Germany or having the equivalent of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN credential in Germany.
Or talk with the school you are considering transferring to!

Do you have a full dual german style vocational training (=examinierte Gesundheits- u. Krankenpflegerin)?
