New user; if I am posting in the wrong place for a question please advise. Thank you. My question is: Do anyone have any information on University of New England's Distance Learning program on their MSW program. I have researched and only found two reviews and they were not helpful. All I know for sure is it has good reviews (1) and it is expensive. But besides the USC Social Work (online) there is no other accredited program. Or I am not looking in the right places. Please help; thank you.

Schoolboy, you may want to take a look at the online MSW offered by the University of North Dakota. It is pretty low in cost, is nearly 100% online (I think they require one campus visit) and is one of the few programs that will take a non-BSW degree holder into their MSW program. The school is regionally accredited and the social work program is accredited by CSWE.

There is also a mostly-online MSW program offered by Memorial University in Newfoundland (Canada). I don't have a lot of info about it, but it is very inexpensive and I am near certain is also CSWE accredited. There's one more offered by a school in Vancouver, but last I checked it was only open to Canadian students.

The Valdosta program requires a monthly visit to campus, so it is not really truly online (or at least, not a distance program.) If you live nearby (or can travel once a month) it would be a good option, but might be a challenge for others.
