I came upon this program at Angelo State which I thought might be of interest. The degree is an MS in applied psychology and is available completely online. The tuition appears somewhat prohibitive at 1748.10 per 3
credit grad course; however, Angelo State seems to have to have various scholarships and stipends to help defray costs.

One feature I like about the Angelo State program is that it does not require an psych BA for admission.

Angelo State is a great school. I thoroughly enjoyed the business degree program. (I still keep in touch with my professors). The Air Force ROTC program is top-notch--the scholarship paid for my education. But most of all, I met my wife there.

    Dr. Rene,

As a side note, I spent my freshman year at Abilene Christian before transferring to Sam Houston State. In that Abilene wasn’t a very exciting town, or so I thought at the grand old age of 18, I took the short 50-mile trip to San Angelo one weekend. To my disappointment the town of San Angelo wasn’t the step-up I was looking for; and no negative reflection on ASU intended...

    Major56,

I agree---San Angelo is a small college town---the main employers are the college and the Air Force base. I think the county seat is there as well. My dorm mates and I would take the short 50 mile trip to Abilene looking for the big city life. But then again, this is west Texas.

    San Angelo

    Dr. Rene,

I did however, drive through San Angelo about a year ago on my way to Midland. San Angelo had certainly grown quite a bit from my earlier collegiate days; and of course so has even Abilene. But as you’ve mentioned … it is West Texas with both towns sporting a USAFB (Dyess and Goodfellow) ... one an Air Combat Command Base, the other a Training Command).
