Who has done this? I want to enroll with this program..

Are there any problems starting a masters program that is not RA, and wanting to teach in the state of CA?

If you mean teaching college then there could be issues teaching at an RA school.

If teaching within the context of a college/university is the goal an RA graduate degree is the way to go! Furthermore, due to the competitive job market for teaching positions within academia those with a doctorate would stand the best chance of finding employment IF they also possess relevant research and teaching experience.

If you want to teach, I would go with an RA degree. You never have to ask any questions or be concerned.
