Masters/Doctoral Psychology Programs Done Completely Online?

    Do they exist?

As I posted before, I started with CCU(bachelor of psych) and I should be done within a year or so, because I had previous college credits that were accepted.
I would like to know if any Master/Doctoral program for psychology exists online without residency requirements.

Do you guys think I will have a problem being accepted into schools that are RA, because CCU is not RA? Yeah I suppose this is something that I should have considered before enrolling, but I was thinking about doing my Masters with CCU, and now I am looking into other schools online as well. I was looking into UMass, and Northcentral University but their master programs, require some residency . Unless I misread something.. Can anyone confirm this? I have contacted Umass, and NCU, and I am awaiting for their responses, but I would appreciate some feedback from students who have completed any type of psychology program online.

    I have a few options...
    1) I could return back to the States, and fulfil the residency requirements, but I would like to avoid this process, if I could.
    2) Take the Masters program from CCU and again return to the states, and try and get licensed in California, but that will limit my career goals within California only.

You could try either Capella or Argosy University. Both offer the online programs you are looking for, plus they will consider or accept your CCU undergrad degree for admission.

Remember that for licensure outside California you will always need to have a B&M component of your classwork.

    Residencies? NCU?

It is very possible that you misread something on the Northcentral website.

    Euphoric. Search the degreeinfo database.

    - Under " choose field of study "
    select psych/counseling.

    - Select " no residency " under " optional
    parameters "

You should find more than a dozen schools. In regards to NCU, the university does not require residencies.

Northcentral University does accept DETC accredited degrees and courses for transfer. Hope this helps. :)

In other words, California is the only state where you can achieve professional licensure as a psychologist with no residency whatsoever. Other states will allow you to do your psychology degrees largely by distance learning, but there will be some residential ("bricks & mortar") component.

    hi

NCU told me they wont accept my degre from CCU?

Umass on the other hand said YEs. I was looking into the University of WEst alabama, and I was happy with them.

But the link below will show you which universities are recognized by greece, and none of the online universities are ;( (click USA on the TOP)

    Re: hi

I am surprised that NCU would not accept CCU's degree. I seem to recall reading many posts regarding just the opposite. Maybe NCU does not accept transfer credits from CCU at the Master's level, but I am almost certain they accept them at the Bachelor's level.

    Can anyone verify that?
