I was recently informed that NCU overhauled their entire Marriage and Family Therapy program - especially their PhD...does anyone have any info, firsthand or otherwise, on the quality of their program?
Will I be able to qualify for licensure in NY as an MFT with their Masters and/or doctorate?
    Thanks!

You will have to get a list of the requirements of your state and then check to make sure that NCU will fulfill them. There is a high probability that if they have a Masters and a Doctorate that is Regionally accredited that they will have patterned their requirements based on the National Organizations that set those standards.

Just for your information: Capella University's School of Human Services just got their Marriage and Family Masters program accredited by CACREP, which does programmatic accreditation on which the states base their requirements.

Go to the following link for more info: http://www.capella.edu/schools_programs/human_services/masters/marital_couple_therapy.aspx

    Hope this helps!
