What's new at Degree.com: hats

    Once in a while, the sight of this forum collecting dust, over there in a corner, reminds me to take a look at Sheila's www.degree.com to see if anything is new.

    I don't remember the hats.

    Each of the 20-or-so schools listed, described, and linked are assigned a number of hats (well, mortar boards), reflecting their excellence. Five hats is the top rating, and it goes to the University of Phoenix, DeVry, Regis . . . and Kennedy-Western University.

    Schools like the University of Liverpool, Aspen U, ITT Tech, and Jones International have only four hats.

    And not a word about macarena lessons.
