I was so moved by my own post in the "MIGS Exploration" thread (I admit I'm my own biggest fan, if not my only fan) I would like to nominate Dr. Steve Levicoff for the first annual coveted and distinguished Meritous Service Award from DegreeInfo.com.

I know that I've personally gotten many laughs out of his MIGS website and the award will also be a wonderful celebration in the establishment of DegreeInfo.com.

    Do I here a second?

I would be pleased and privileged to second it. His MIGS website is a "hoot"!

I "third" it. What is the URL for Steves Migs site?

The whole thing is a HOOT! I've had some personal email exchanges with Steve it and MIGS's operations here in Texas. They have been interesting, informative, and hilarous. So, I support the award.

Its been nine months since this nomination was made. Has the award been presented yet? [IMG]

The award ceremony was scheduled months ago, Chip, Tom Nixon, Bill Gossett, and I rented tuxedoes, had the award made, had the caterers all set, etc. At the last minute Steve got an urgent job hauling a load of widgets from Boston to Los Angeles and had to send his regrets. He suggested having Enrique Serna accept the award on his behalf, but calls to San Antonio went unanswered.

I guess Enrique misses again, huh?

The esteemed Mr. Serna did not miss a thing. He was at the banquet on September 31st, but no one showed up. [IMG]

September 31st and MIGS seem to have something in common--neither have actually ever crystallized. [IMG]

I believe they use a different calendar on Planet Danzig.
