MIGS lawsuit??

Has the MIGS lawsuit been dismissed?

Steve Levicoff's angelfire page dedicated to the MIGS lawsuit now reads simply

"This page reserved . . .
for future use."

His tripod page now simply says "C'ya"

I hope this doesn't mean he'll be leaving us permanently...

I believe that it's reasonable to state that the MIGS lawsuit was never really anything more than a thinly veiled attempt at scaring Dr. Steve Levicoff into keeping his opinion of MIGS to himself. I believe that enough time has passed and enough details discovered to make it clear that MIGS can't afford to allow the case to ever go to discovery.

I too hope that Steve visits us on occasion in the future. I believe that he is an important advocate for consumer affairs within the distance education industry.

 

I had just directed a friend to his unofficial TESC pages. His index page is essentially blank but the TESC pages are still there, thank goodness.

Something (like MIGS dropping the suit) must be in the works, hence the yanked Website.

For reasons all his own Steve chose to remove the Web site and informed Enrique Serna (the attorney for MIGS). MIGS, for reasons we all know, then chose to drop the lawsuit. My understanding is that there was not a quid pro quo.

Keep in mind, however, that there are mirror sites of Steve’s hidden in various nooks and crannies of the Internet, and the soap opera that is MIGS continues…
