    Overall good.

    My one complaint is that it tends to portray everyone in the Navy as cartoonishly competent and patriotic, and the antagonists as comic book villains. (I'm not saying Navy people aren't either of those good things, but they really do lay it on pretty thick.) Still, I suppose you don't watch a show about the Navy if you don't want the Navy to be the good guys, and it's well cast (McSteamy and Jayne) and has good action, so thumbs up.

    I've since caught up on the second season, so that's pretty much the ultimate endorsement.
