The school link doesn't appear to be available.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am currently accessing the site from Asia, which may be part of the issue?

Honestly, that is good news for the Marines because the certificate, diploma, or degree is accredited by regional instead of national. And you can put, "Marine Corps University" in your resume instead of, Marine Corps Institute (MCI)...most civilian people do not know what is Marine Corps Institute.

In that the Training and Education Command (which likewise incorporate both the Officer Candidate School and The Basic School) is too under the authority of Marine Corps University … perhaps I should include the university on my résumé or signature line… :smokin:

I had an amazing experience with Marine Corps University. As a DoD Agency Civilian, I was able to enroll in the Navy War College Fleet Seminar Program. To prepare myself, I took a writing class with MCU. MCU offered the Old Chief encouragement and continued academic assistance. My retirement from government ended my Navy War College eligibility, and with it my MCU eligibility. I remain in awe at the professionalism and kindness of the staff at Marine Corps University.
