Looking for a military friendly school with a program in IT Management, Comp Sci., CIS, etc. School would preferably have a liberal military credit acceptance policy. Would also like accelerated terms, and tuition that fits Federal Tuition Assistance levels ($250 per sh).

TESC is in, Excelsior is up in the air, and no opinion on COSC.

    Thanks,

    Cory

    Cory,

Did you check out Troy University? Troy University offers Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science (formerly BS in Computer Science). They accept up to 60 credits from CLEP, DANTES, and Military Training. I had completed the degree in 24 months with 60 credits from the institution, and 60 credits from CLEP, DANTES, and Military Training (MCI Courses....Marine Corps Institute). Usually, Troy University offers Military student with Minor in Military Science; which all the credits from the training are enough for that portion. All Military credits must be evaluated by ACE.

I chose Troy University over TESC, Excelsior, COSC because Troy has B&M campuses.

    Tek

Never even thought of Troy. I am actually trying to help one of my Army Guard friends out. He is interested in a CS degree. If you do not mind would you give me (via PM if you prefer) a breakdown of courses you took/completed and what military credits were transferred in?

(look closely at my screen name...my "jobs" in another life)

    Thanks,

    Cory

So, which one is the first one? 0331 or 0151? Well, yeah... if your friend intereste, I can spend time for reorganizing the degree plan that I had done. I finished my degree before I left active duty. I have drill on this weekend, so I'll PM with the breakdown. If possible, can you PM with your email or email me at [email protected]
