Hi all, my name is Mara

I earned a BA in Philosophy in 2007. I earned international honors (3.5+ GPA) and have been working in IT ever since. Over the past two years, I've been studying statistics and logic on my own, and have been trying to find an online or distance education masters degree program in Logic / Applied Logic / Symbolic Logic. I'm open to international online / distance degrees as well, but only if they're offered in English.

Nice to meet you all, and thank you in advance. =)

I'm guessing that you already know that you've chosen an area where there are very few resources. You may find a Masters degree in Philosophy but probably not in Logic as a specific sub-discipline. The closest I could find is this:

Critical and Creative Thinking Certificate - UMassOnline.net

While this is just a cert program I'm told that if you can transfer in the right courses they'll give you a Masters (which they also award - just not in the DL mode)

I'm also looking for decent philosophy program that offered completely online. Based on my research thus far, I found what I consider to be three relatively solid programs: 1) University of Whales - Lampeter, 2) University of South Africa, and 3) University of New England, Australia. Are there any additional programs that are offered completely online, besides those mentioned in this thread? Any further info or advice would be greatly appreciated!
