I will be attending a graduate school in 2010, however I have not chosen a school yet. I am having a hard time figuring out what is the best choice for an MBA/management. I live in California and money is an obstacle. I have a great job but what to further my education to allow myself to succeed. I have gone crazy with the web search engine manipulations. I read the same thing over and over again. Can anyone inform me of a respected, affordable accredited graduate program for DL?
hi j - you're going to need to say something REALLY specific about what you mean when you use the term "affordable." what i can afford is not necessarily what you can afford. use hard dollars as markers. there are a million dl mba programs (really only about 200). here's the best list you'll find anywhere. http://sites.google.com/site/aggietechie/ if you can let us know what you can actually afford then we can probably help you to pare down the list.

It is a state-by-state list of (hopefully) all business-related distance master's programs showing school name, web site, degree titles, majors/concentrations, tuition, and accreditations. Sorry it only goes through Tennessee. I'll get on it and see when I can post Texas (and Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming).
I make $50,000 a year. I have looked at two colleges in particular Un of Phx and Grand Canyon University, I am not certain if they are cosidered"degree mills" or not.
I currently make $50,000 a year. I aim to progress my education to hold a higher position. What I fear is investing the time and money into an MBA and then have it discredited because its from a "degree mill."
I'm sorry J but knowing how much you make per year doesn't mean much unless I know your debt structure as well. It doesn't matter, I'm thinking that you're a lot like me, cheaper is better. We have a lot of threads on mba degrees. plus, Jonnie just revamped his dl pages http://sites.google.com/site/aggietechie/ There's nothing wrong with U of P but they're not even close to being the cheapest alternative. Spend some time looking through the listings on Jonnies site. There's not an unaccredited school on the (MBA) list.
