Um, Fidel or Raul? Or both? :Eyecrazy:[[/QUOTE] Fidel and Che! Raul still embraces the myth, but he isn't far behind.
Out of all of those Cubans (yeah, I know), you pick on the two white guys. Seriously, how come no one mentions that peculiar fact?
Well, they're dead. Live Cubans are of every color humans happen to be. When alive, Fidel "Nuclear Holocaust" Castro was of European heritage. Ernie Lynch was Argentine and of European heritage.
What I'm wondering about is your statement when alive Castro was of European heritage. In other words, if a person's heritage doesn't change upon death, why the need to stipulate when alive?
No one's ethnicity changes after death. A man of Asian, African & Spanish origin, who then dies, is a dead Asian/African/Spaniard man. UNLESS, he identified as a woman, a-sexual, mono-sexual, etc. But that's a different thread.
Since we're arguing for the sake of argument... RAM PhD wrote, "Castro or Che aren't Cuban?" I then pointed out that they aren't anything since they are dead.
