Hmm, I notice there are not very many stand alone animal care type courses. I am currently working a contract job that is non related to animals, but it requires travel and time away from my family, and i don't like that part of it. My real dream is to work with animals somehow, pay is not important. I am not interested in doing a full program like a Vet Tech type thing, that is just to intense. Any suggestions? I don't really need any courses to get in to working with animals, but i figure it can't hurt. If they are cheap, it is something to think about.

You could start here for VERY little money, Abner. I have LOTS of Dummies books - photography, guitar playing, computers & programming -- all great resources. Pet Books - For Dummies I have no doubt their books on animals and their care are up to the usual high standards. J
