Hello. I have earned 68 college credits from a higher educational institute in Greece (state institute, not private or not-accredited). But unfortunately, due to my job requirements (I am a Coast Guard Officer for the last 18 years), I couldn't keep up with my studies, and now I would like to find an online college where I can use my 68 credits either to ''convert'' them to an associate's degree (or HND) or to continue from this point towards a bachelor degree. Any ideas? (Not too expensive if possible)! Thank you.
For international credentials, get them fully evaluated - course by course and GPA from one of the education evaluation services agencies that's recognized by the school you want to attend. Use ECE or WES as per their webpage. If you want to go to TESU or Excelsior, they accept both as well: International Student Policies https://www.charteroak.edu/catalog/current/admission_policies_matriculation/international_students.cfm Most likely you would want to complete more classes, but if an associates is all you need, COSC is your cheapest/best option (use your spare time to get 27 credits from FEMA). If you are going to ladder up, go for a BSBA at COSC. I've got a Beginners Guide and you may want to read that as well. There's an attached spreadsheet, but it's for TESU. The courses should be very similar except for the use of FEMA credits and maybe a few different courses accepted as UL. Side Question: Do you get free CLEP/DSST exams? If so, use them, if not, no biggie, use the easiest/quickest method. ALEKS for math/statistics, Saylor, Straighterline, Study.com and Penn Foster (ACE Recommended courses only).
Very illuminating! Thank you my friend, you gave me good information, now I will see my options. Thank you again.:slaphappy:
Refugees Not much experience, only two months I participated in joint forces with FRONTEX, now the refugee flows are a lot less, but the eastern-aegean islands still have some thousands of them, so we just wait to see what the big-brains of european union will decide...
If you preferred to complete your degree by distance from a university in your own country - there are many options. 18 distance business degrees here - I'm sure there are more. Search Online Courses Worldwide - DistanceLearningPortal.com Oh yes - if you search in Greek - Many more. I put this phrase into Google: πτυχίο στην επιχείρηση + εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση (business degree + distance learning) Perhaps the Open University of Greece might have something suitable: http://www.eap.gr/el/ Just a thought. No distance student, of course, is limited to his/her own country. J.
