Hey Group – So I had an interview at a major university in Southern California for a HR Project Coordinator position. In my interview, they asked me about my education. My interviewer looked at my resume and said, “I see you have been traveling?” (Implying my degree from Liberty and my current Master’s from SNHU) I ended up explaining that I finished my two-year degree locally and then due to work scheduling, I ended up finishing the remainder of my degree online, and I am finishing up my master’s degree online, too. After saying this, I was waiting for a response or some type of reaction, but needless to say, the interviewers did not have an issue with it. (I’m assuming it’s because most higher education organizations are supportive of online education). Long story short, I am proud to say that I was offered the job the same day I interviewed. I’m really excited and can’t wait to start soon.
This is AWESOME!!!!!! :fing02: Congrats to you on your new adventures!:dance::dance::You_Rock_Emoticon:
Awesome! Not many people have negative reaction toward distance learning/online education. Congrats! Honestly, for me I would recognize more than those professional folks quit their jobs and attend full-time on campus. It shows that you are determined and able to handle heavy workloads.
:fest06:Congradulationsarty: I'm sure it all has to do with the last sentence in your signature line.
