Now that I got the dang degree done, I finally feel free to undertake whatever intellectual pursuits I dang done well please. I've already checked out the Arabian Nights Entertainments from the library, have started taking up learning another job skill via independent study (and will go for certification before the year is out), have my first opencourseware class lined up and have big plans for my mental training. I think I have what it takes to one day be a polyglot, a skilled memory athlete AND human calculator. That's a lot of pointless nerdy stuff, but I think that everyone should have a hobby to work on and my hobby happens to be ME :veryhappy: Ultimately, I'm thinking about starting up my own forum/blog/clearinghouse website dedicated to autodidactic lifelong learning. If there is any message I want to get out there it is to remind people that there exist such a place as a library, and it is awesome! Just yesterday I was wandering around mine and came across a book on "textile science." I had never heard of it before and have no interest in learning, but I love the fact that we live in a day and age where such information is readily available for anyone who might find value in it. Don't let your resources go to waste, my friends!!!!
Maybe you could do this to help figure it out USB | Degrees | Postgraduate Diploma in Futures Studies or maybe you could give yourself a bit of a vacation. You've earned it.
Forget school for a bit. Train for and run a marathon...or a half marathon...or some other distance that you haven't run.
