Hello I just recently found this forum and I had a question. I recently graduated high school and I wanted to attend an university but it was too expensive and then I tried to take some community college courses but I live in a rural town so the schools are overcrowded and I can't get any classes. I can't travel far so I wanted to know if anyone could help me find somewhere I could take basic general Ed classes online for cheap like enghlish comp and math so I can get that out the way and transfer into an university sophmore year. Thanks in advance
What's your state of residence? That answer will help determine which community colleges will be cheapest.
Hi BC - You need to take a deep breath and prepare to do some serious homework. You have sooooo many options in front of you. You should plan on spending a week just reading through this board because there's a lot of info here that can save you time and money. To start off, look here: Off-Campus Degrees | International Study | Extended and Continuing Education | CSU
The California Community College System offers the lowest tuition in the US as far as I know ($22/semester unit as of two years ago). You could earn all your lower division credits at these colleges. I used Coastline which has a simple enrollment procedure; Distance Learning - Coastline Community College - Distance Learning Program
