Here is an Aspen U. Press release: http://www.fortmilltimes.com/2013/05/21/2704791/aspen-university-announces-innovative.htm It has no value for me, but might be useful for some to know.
Your link didn't work. Try this one: Aspen University Announces Innovative Monthly Installment Payment Plan for Graduate Students | Fort Mill Times - Fort Mill, SC
"Aspen’s monthly installment plan will allow a graduate degree student to make three $350 monthly tuition payments (due at the start of week 1, week 5, and week 9) during each 10-week class. This plan will be offered to both existing students and new students effective June 1, 2013." I do not see the innovation. It is a nothing press release. For almost half that price one can earned an RA degree that has maximum portability and utility. Also at RA schools one will not be on the hook for the whole program tuition. These monthly payment plan are traps.
Innovative...OK... whatever? Perhaps Title IV is an issue at this point for Aspen University. At one time I really liked Aspen University. However, since they have raised tuition, I see them as just another nationally accredited online university charging too much for tuition. (Though $350.00 is not horrible.)
Here you go, enjoy: Eastern New Mexico University-Main Campus Master of Business Administration (NM) $5,978 Wayne State College Master of Business Administration (NE) $7,500 Fitchburg State University Master of Business Administration / Management (MA) $8,310 Amberton University Master of Business Administration / General Business (TX) $8,460 Chadron State College Master of Business Administration (NE) $9,000 Tarleton State University Master of Business Administration (TX) $10,583 Resident $20,771 Others Northwest Missouri State University Master of Business Administration (MO) $11,871 Resident $19,699 Others West Texas A & M University Master of Business Administration / General Business (TX) $11,934 Resident $24,454 Others University of North Alabama Master of Business Administration (AL) $11,952 Columbia College Master of Business Administration (MO) $12,060 Source: Geteducated.com Aspen University: MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS standard payment plan Cost per Credit$350 Credits36 Tuition$12,600
And that list is just RA non-AACSB. There are also RA AACSB MBAs for less than Aspen's monthly-installment tuition.
