Just found this by accident....Concord Law School is now offering an online LL.M. in Small Business Practice for people who already have a J.D.; Concord Law School | Online Law Degrees at Kaplan University
I'd suggest going to St. Thomas University of Law or Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Both are ABA accredited and have been known to accept graduates of California online law schools for their LLM programs, which are distance learning as well. I've never been enamored with Concord, even though they help push the envelope of online law schools. If DETC accreditation fits the bill I'd choose Taft University over Concord.
I think Concord may some day be looked upon as a trailblazer in online legal education, since they have the considerable resources of the Kaplan Corporation behind them. One of their students broke the no-online law school barrier in Massachusetts; http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/29375-major-breakthrough-dl-law-schools.html
You're right Bruce, Concord brings a lot to the online law learning table and they are trailblazers, no question about that. It's just that they're overly aggressive (if there is such a thing in law) for my tastes, but then again that's what you have to be when competing with and trying the challenge the ABA.
I agree Sideman. Also Florida Coastal School of Law (ABA), Florida Coastal School of Law - LL.M. Program in addition to St. Thomas and TJSL, offers an online LLM at $13K. Moreover, there are several distance UK LLM programs that don’t even require a prior JD or LLB for admittance. All in my view would be more credible options than Concord.
