What do some of you think about those online"MASTERS" Grad certs from schools such as Notre Dame, U of San Fran, Tulane? Iam on long-term disability(stroke), and I am thinking of trying one while I wait for my medical issues to clear.:scratchchin:
They may be of good quality but the marketing (mini-Masters) is deliberately misleading. They are also expensive.
Have you considers a graduate certificate? Some are as few as 9 credits and probably cost the same or less then those certificate programs. What area are you interested in?
My personal opinion is that if they don't offer graduate credit I wouldn't bother, not for the prices some of those programs are asking. Some of those non-credit certificate programs cost more than some masters degrees from state schools.
Yes, a very fine idea, Having the Post 9/11 GI Bill is a big plus, why bunt, when I can swing away? Last year at this time, I was excited to have the chance to continue on w/school, but my health situation, changed all that, It is truly amazing how in such a short time, life can change on a dime.. I was all consumed w/getting a FED job, then it happened, I was hit by a Tsunami, here I am still talking about schools/degrees, etc. Man do it while your young! I almost feel like what good is another piece of paper, when your left leg works like crap, and your left hand/arm are currently useless.... and I thought STATS was hard, what a whiner I was
