Here is some of the email I received today: ----------------------- Dear Richard, A couple of months ago we launched a group of new courses. At the time we had received conditional ACE credit recommendation. We are excited to announce that the wait is over...the American Council on Education's (ACE) Credit Recommendation Service reviewed and recommends StraighterLine's new online college courses for credit. The newest college courses include: General Calculus I Introductory Biology Introductory Biology with Lab General Chemistry I General Chemistry I with Lab Business Communications
How about that, Psychology! This is exciting, a few humanities and social studies classes and there is some serious potential that SL could actually produce sufficient credit for an associates degree in the very near future!
Open enrollment college chemistry with lab for $138/month or $399 for six months? FANTASTIC catch, rickjo! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing! Cordially, Richard Kanarek P.S. And thanks for the direct link, Mr. Lankford!
With all the ace reviewed stuff out now, it seems that you could all most do a whole degree with them.
Perhaps one could if some saintly person were to cull the chaff from the wheat and post a list of particularly spiffy ACE courses and exams. (Hint, hint. ;-)
I don't know about others, but between CLEP and FEMA, that's up to three-fourths of a Bachelor's degree right there. -=Steve=-
