I've got one of these on my Shelf of Odd Political Stuff, along with the Bill Clinton pencil sharpener (don't ask where you stick the pencil) and the Reagan & Gorbachev boxing puppets, among (my wife says) far too many others.
I'm sorry until Bruce posted I was sure this was a joke, there is really a 10,000 dollar bill? Or am I being gullible. Anyway, who's face is on that I wonder....
Its real... Salmon P. Chase (no kidding) is the on the $10,000 bill. I'd rather have a few stacks of the $100,000 bill, with Woody Wilson on it. Wikipedia Linky
That is unbelievable. According to wikipedia, a 100,000 dollar bill would currently equal over $1.5 million. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_denominations_of_United_States_currency Anyone care to become an instant trillionaire. Touche. My dad told me the $10,000 bills were used for transactions between banks (pre-computers), and the $100,000 bills were only exchanged between Federal Reserve Banks. No actual person ever had a $100,000 bill.
