Just an update on my first week of my UF class for an MS degree (if anyone cares) The requirements for the first week are/were as follows: Attend two Elluminate live lectures (one on Sunday and one on Wednesday and 90 minutes each) Read 64 pages in the Health Law text Post two discussion questions relevant to the reading Respond to three other students’ questions Watch two video that are posted on the UF E-Learning System (60 minutes each) Answer five homework questions. Each response should be a minimum of one paragraph referencing the reading material. The class is seven weeks and I can see it will be a killer. My plan is to complete this one class, get back to my PhD, knock that out in 2009, get back to the MS from UF in 2010 and finish by the end of 2011.
What about the MBA? Finish that this summer? If you don't sleep, you could probably finish all three this year.

Okay…okay…I can hear you laughing. I completed by first finance class for the MBA in December and I am not sure what I am going to do with the program in the future. I really only want 18 grad credit to teach finance so I only have two more classes (8 credits) left for that goal. This one UF class will give me 18 grad credits in healthcare so I will be qualified to teach that - plus over 15 years experience never hurts. My focus in the future is going to be “name” schools. I will complete the NCU PhD since I am so far into it but then an MS from UF and maybe…in the future…an EdD from the University of South Florida.
