Had to gripe about this.. I now have to add ~30% to each course!!! Now THAT is aggravating, considering I pay for my education out of my own pocket! OK ppl - help stimulate the buck so I won't go broke getting my education!
Damn!!!!! That's a huge jump. I know how you feel. I have paid for every cent of my education of out my own pocket. Abner
Got that sinking feeling... I feel your pain. At this rate we'll be back to 45 cent per litre gasoline ( ) and an exchange rate of USD1.00 = CAD1.50 ( ). Companies should be expanding during this downturn instead of laying off workers. Soon Canadians will be as cheap a labour source as Indians (not Native North Americans aka Aboriginals aka Inuit). On the bright side, at least my US investments are increasing in value everyday, but those were meant for my retirement. But I am too young and not wealthy enough to retire - is there a lottery with a big jackpot this weekend? As for the Wall Street "wizards" they should all be lined up against the wall and .... (use your imagination and be creative or even sadistic if that makes you smile)
The CDN $ must be on the same path as the AUD$. It is currently 61 cents US. Down from 93 cents US in two months. US universities are also outside the zone for me at the moment.
Oh, I am sure the auto workers union will be more than happy to assist in building this wall. I hear two plants are closing in Ohio despite any potential government bailout so they'll be available shortly.
I heard today on CBC talkradio that GC production line workers earn, on avg, $75USD; Toyota's earn $44 - no wonder GM is going down!
