Sitting on my desk, drinking a glass of red wine, enjoying the fantastic outdoor weather here in Saskatchewan... life is grand! ...had to share
Oh yea. New England weather up north or down south from Canada is real nice this time of year. Enjoy it. Winters are awful.
The coldest it got this winter was -62.5F ( -54C ).. now THAT was cold! But last night, the temp was about 65F..nice and comfy
I had a friend who grew up in Florida. She came to Boston to go to grad school. She could never acclimate to the Northern Winter season and eventually she moved to Arizona. To me Winter is a not a problem. If you're even a bit smart and a bit prepared then you just move right through it. I'd rather live through a Boston blizzard than live through a Miami hurricane.
Indeed...though the winter in Saskatchewan is COLD due to the temps, I miss the ocean and am looking forward to moving back east in a couple of years
I do miss basking in the hot summer southern sun. My southern city of former residence is almost untouched by hurricanes. The day could come when a category 5 hits that city like a tyson knockout punch. New England is growing on me, but I am still a southerner at heart and hope to move back in a few years.
