Justin Bieber, Distance Learning High School Graduate

Good news: Just in time to write a blurb for the next edition of Thomas Nixon's online high school book.

Less good news, possibly: He's one of us now. You just might find it harder to dislike the guy.

Good for him! Tho I don't see anything in the article about it being an online high school , it seems to be located in his hometown and there's nothing that I can see on the school's website about doing online studies ... ?

See the subheading, "Pop star earns his diploma through online classes."

(This came to my attention through the the Facebook feed of Ontario's Independent Learning Centre, a provincial government distance learning high school program. They could have been involved, though were not necessarily.)

Oh, I totally missed the subheading! Sorry, that seems to be the only place the "online" part is mentioned.

This isn't the first time that Bieber, known for hits like Baby and Boyfriend, has raised controversy this month.

In early July, he personally apologized to Bill Clinton after a video was released that captured Bieber urinating into a restaurant mop bucket and later using expletives to dismiss a framed picture of the former U.S. president.

It's not even among the first controversies specifically relating to the Stratford , Ont., heartthrob's saliva.

Recently, he's reportedly been accused of spitting at a neighbour, a DJ and a woman at a gym.

I have never had anything against him myself, and I've always personally found all of the hate against him to be silly.

I'm glad he graduated high school, and I wish him much future success.

When I saw that name I threw up in my mouth a little. Just sayin... But good for him, finally.

The way things turn out for some of these "pop" idols and their burnout careers he's going to need it later on.
