    Isabella,

This school is not accredited. I don't know of any accredited highschool that you'd be able to finish in 2 weeks, but you can try American School and Penn Foster. I am unsure as to whether they will accept international students, you'd have to check. Both programs are regionally accredited and affordable. American has a traditional track and a college prep track.

    Good luck.

Penn Foster High School accepts international students. I'm a graduate from their High School program and i'm from Singapore.

Also, if you want to know more High Schools that offer DL programs. you can find it here..

    Hope this helps..

    Re: Re: High School Diploma

Penn Foster or American are both regionally accredited and will serve you better than the DETC schools as far as geting into college, and there is virtually no cost differenence. My son is in American right now...it's a very solid program. I take college classes from Penn Foster...also a very solid program. I'd stick with either of those two.

JOHN ADAMS is now fully accredited, yay!

    http://www.johnadams-edu.us/show_news.php?id=24

From the the JAHS website: The traditional program cost is $ 999.00 per full year for up to 6-credits. The graduation package comes complete with your High School Diploma, Transcripts and Nice Padded Cover! (Online high school credit courses are within your Transcript) The padded cover, the padded cover!

National Commission of Accredited Schools (NCOAS) in Washington, DC.

What is this, another FULLY accredited school??? Is this run out of basement IN Washington DC? I can't even find it in Google.

    John Adams...bogus.
The entire four year high school program, 21 credits, at Penn Foster does not cost this much. PF's High School program costs approximately $800.00. The diploma, transcripts, and cover are also included..lol.

Penn Foster is regionally accredited by Middle States at the highschool level, by DETC at the college level.

John Adams is way too costly. Penn Foster and American are both fully, regionally accredited, both at a fraction of the cost, both include the cost of text books.

    Pug,
Penn Foster Career Schools, including high school, vocational courses, are accredited by by MSA and DETC. Only the Penn Foster College Associate Degree Courses are DETC accredited.

BTW, I'm an Alumnus of Penn Foster and also a current student. I graduated the ASTET program in 2003. I'm in my last semester of the ASEET program there. Taking AutoCad at the present time. Only 3 courses to completition.

Yes, you are correct. How have you liked the Penn Foster program? I just started the Business degree...too early to tell whether I like it or not.

    Pug,
The courses at Penn Foster are very challenging. With my ASTET, it took me 21 months to complete. So far the ASTEET has taken 18 months. Since I had 47 transfer credits, I only needed: 2 semester 1 courses, 1 course in semester 2, 3 courses in semester 3.

AS an Alumnus and Student, I have a vested opinion of the school. It has excellent study material, great Instructors( which I have communicated with on hundreds of occasions), the student services have been excellent, course material shipped on time, and lessons(graded by Instructors) have been expidited in relative quick order.
I have been associated with this school since their ICS days, which goes back over 40 years.

    I googled this accreditation association.
    None could be found:
National Commission of Accredited Schools (NCOAS) in Washington, DC.

    Looks bogus to me!

The link to American is http://www.americanschoolofcorr.com/.

As I recall, they do not publish their tuition costs on the website. You have to call or email to request an informational brochure. My son is currently enrolled. We're paying $579 for 2 years (junior and senior), so it's slightly higher than Penn Foster but WAY lower than most others. We've been very happy with the course content and quality. What I really liked about them was that they offered a general highschool program and a college prep program. Each require a total of 16 credits but the college prep has only 3 electives, instead substituting electives with an additional english, literature and math course. I also like Penn Foster. Both Penn Foster and American include all text books with their tuition. I don't think you can go wrong with either program.

Also, if you are wondering, either diploma (PF or American) is sufficient for entry to regionally accredited colleges. You may still be required to take the SAT's depending on your age. My son is planning to do 2 years at the local community college, then transfer into the the University of baltimore to complete his desired major. I've already confirmed with both colleges that his HS diploma will satisfy all requiements.

Let us know which way you decide to go.

Outstanding. I'm really anxious to get rolling with them. I've completed 2 of the 3 orientation courses already...the 3rd is on back order so they're sending me the first full course as a substitute. They seem very helpful so far. My only "complaint" would be that they don't seem to receive and process information very quickly (transcripts, enrollment forms, etc.) - probably due to their size. I'm used to dealing with smaller universities where there is more of a personal touch. Even so, it hasn't been a problem. I have extensive, real-life business experience. I'm curious to see how much of it will actually apply to the courses...whether I'll be familiar with the material already and be able to move through it quickly, or whether I'll be learning new information as any new student would. I suspect there will be some of both.

It´s not so simple for me to take a decision. I´m 38 years old. I would like to apply for a Associate Degree in Business Management, but I don´t know if it´s work without High School Diplom, I have 10 grade (in Romania) + Diploma of Vocational School /Toolmaker in Romania)+ Certificate as a Geriatric Nurse in Germany)
I have send a email to Penn Foster for a transcript evaluation.
