SCUPS Ammends its programs..

I don't know if this info may have been in a previous post, BUT SCUPS - as per their website - has dropped most of their online doctoral programs (except for the Jurius Doctorate). The site was updated on 8/13/03.

I guess they are really serious about seeking accrediation.

Yes... They sent me a little blue card in August that said I had 10 days to enroll in a PhD or I would be too late. I declined- besides, I'm not done with my M Ed yet...

I wish DETC would let these schools offer PhD, even if the doctorate wasn't accredited. Many affordable doctorates have been taken off the table, like Cal Coast and SCUPS. The only cal approved PhD I see now is Optimal Performance Institue, which is a little hoky, if you ask me. You have to recruit a PhD mentor who does the work for them.

I'm waiting for an Excelsior or AMU DL docorate program...
