See excerpt below from Excelsior's Peer Network site:

New! MLS Course For Undergraduate Students

If you are within 30 credits of receiving your bachelor's degree, and have at least a 2.8 average, you can enroll in MLS 500, Graduate Research and Writing. This course, which is the first course in the MLS program, teaches how to do scholarly research, write in an academic voice, and format a graduate paper or thesis. If you are an Excelsior student in Liberal Arts, this course can count towards your undergraduate degree as an upper level humanities course, and will also satisfy the Written English Requirement. If you decide to continue on for a MLS degree at Excelsior, the course will also satisfy the first 3 credits of your graduate program.

This course is individually scheduled and self-paced. Students work one-on-one with a faculty mentor. For more information, contact the MLS office.

Naturally, I took the ECE English Comp exam, last week, so this comes too late for me. But given the reputation the Eng Comp test has for giving a "C" no matter what, this might help someone else contemplating Excelsior. Any thoughts?
