The website states that “This Ph.D. program is offered under license from the Global Council for Management Education (GCME), a degree granting institution in the state of Nevada.” This is the same organization that validates the program at Bénédict International College http://www.benedict.ch/hm/mba.htm. “The academic study program is validated by the USA based Global Council for Management Education (CGME)…” The link for GCME is http://www.gcme.org
Nevada has some pretty detailed licensing regulations: http://www.leg.state.nv.us/NAC/NAC-394.html Does this webpage even mention awarding degrees? It does offer "accreditation" and "validation" among its educational services: http://www.gcme.org/services.html OK, I obviously might be mistaken, but here's how it looks to me: GCME doesn't call itself a "college" or "university" (terms that are legally regulated in Nevada) or (so it seems) offer degrees in that state (ditto). That presumably makes it immune from Nevada higher education licensing. But it somehow "licenses" a school in Belgium to offer degrees in its name, which conceivably makes that school immune from the Belgian education laws that regulate local universities. I'd be very interested in learning the precise status of these activities under both Nevada and Belgian law.
The off-campus price is lower: Doctor of Business Administration Program: Euro 9,995.00 Doctor of Philosophy in Management Program: Euro 9,995.00 However, I do not see a catalogue, list of faculty or anything about their location.
